The Fischers (who are taking WONDERFUL care of me) took me to a REAL SWISS CHALET in the Alps (near Montana) yesterday and today. We played in the snow, ate Raclette (melted cheese on boiled potatoes--yum!) sat by the fireplace, watched the Alps be the Alps (the Alps, man, yowser!) and visited lots of tiny Swiss villages and of course, drank swiss wine. did you know that the only thing one can drink with Raclette is white wine or tea? if you drink cold water then you'll have a belly ache for three days. thank god christophe brought some white wine!
